S.T.E.M. FAIR MENTORING CLUB
We are looking for a few parent volunteers to run the STEM fair mentoring club during lunch time on a day of your convenience from mid January 2020 to mid February.
For more information on what this club does do visit our registration page above.
Your involvement can help kids engage more with S.T.E.M and make this event a success.
We are looking forward to have our pandas participate and share their passion for Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics through their innovative projects.
If we receive enough volunteers to run this club it will happen during both lunch hours on a day that works best for the volunteers (Lunch hours: 11:45am-12:30pm and 12:30pm -1:15 pm).
Please do not hesitate contact the S.T.E.M Fair committee at stemfair@stocklmeirpta.org for any questions you may have.
PURPOSE:
The purpose is to help and guide the kids as they work on their projects.
From helping students decide which project could be a best fit for them (based on their abilities and interests).
To help guide them if they are stuck, to helping some younger students build their project.
We have some good online resources that can be used during these mentoring sessions.
Please sign-up here to enroll your child for the club . Walk-ins are welcome.
Please sign-up here to volunteer as a mentor for the club.
You do not need to be available every week. Just sign up for a day and time slot that works for you and we will plan accordingly.
Please contact the S.T.E.M. Fair Committee with any question or for more information.
