Stocklmeir's Read-a-Thon is back! This fundraiser is simple and fun way to contribute. Most of all, if helps to develop healthy reading habits! Help us meet our goal of $20,000! Please consider donating on behalf of your student and inviting family members and friends to donate as well. This year, our Read-a-Thon will be virtual. Read, keep track of your minutes, report your minutes using our new Google Form and donate online through Konstella. It is that easy!
Now more than ever, our Stocklmeir community needs your support to keep our beloved programs. This year we have received a low donation rate and we need your help! Your Read-a-Thon donations support the PTA. The money raised will support all the fun events sponsored by the PTA, such as CSMA Art & Music, etc. We are truly grateful for any donations raised during this event. What is the Read-A-Thon?
This is a fun reading and fund-raising event to support our school. All funds raised will be used to continue to bring excellent enrichment programs for students.
What are the dates for the Read-A-Thon?
The event runs from March 22nd - April 2nd.
How does the Read-A- Thon Work?
Here are the simple steps. More details about each of the steps in the FAQ’s.
Find good books to read and a cozy corner to read them.
Share an email with family and friends about how they can support you and Stocklmeir. A sample email is provided in the FAQs.
Log your daily reading minutes via the Reading Log. At the end of the 2 weeks (April 2nd), enter your total minutes read via a Google Form.
During the course of the Read-A-Thon, feel free to tell us about what you are reading, upload images of books etc.. via the school-wide Padlet.
Prizes will be awarded to:
Classrooms at each grade level that has read the most
Individual students who have read the most
Students who have contributed the most
All classrooms that meet grade level reading goals
Raise one of the below amounts in pledges and be entered in a raffle to win a prizes! Prizes may include the following:
Pencils for all classes that achieve reading goal
$50 or more: Stocklmeir Lunch Boxes, etc.
$75 or more: Stocklmeir Panda Teddy Bears, etc.
$100 or more: Stocklmeir Blanket, etc.
$125 or more: Sports Basement Gift Card, Leigh’s Bookstore, Goldstar passes, etc.
$200 or more: Camp G, DeYoung passes, etc
