Ms. Cassie

In Loving Memory of Ms. Cassie...

Ms. Cassie passed away on Friday, January 15th. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time! We will miss her smiles, kindness and love for being part of our Stocklmeir Family. Ms. Cassie, we will miss you and we will never be able to fill the hole you left in our community! Thank you for keeping us safe! RIP. - The Stocklmeir Pandas

"Dear Friends and family of Ms.Cassie, My son used to attend Stocklmeir elementary and we knew Ms.Cassie as the strict but kind crossing guard at the school. Without fail, every morning she was there ensuring the safety of our most precious commodities...our children. We did not know her much in a personal capacity but she always had a smile and warm spirit to give everyone she met including my son (who loved to cross whenever he was ready and not necessarily wait for Ms. Cassie to tell him to do so:). He learned to listen through the years and when I mentioned this grave news to him, he wept.

We are all saddened by this past years events...but mostly the passing of good angels like Ms. Cassie. All our prayers to the family. May peace be with you during this most difficult time." Sincerely, The Narasimhan family (Aparna, Shar, and Keshav)

"Miss Cassie was a light for all and helped start my daughter's day off every morning with a hug when crossing the street. She will be missed greatly!" Ashley Elisary (Athena Atondo's Mom)

"Simba and Cassie had a wonderful friendship and through that, I got to know her really well! Her wonderful spirit and cheerfulness every morning always made our day. Our walks would take us at the exact same time that Cassie either parked her car or was sitting inside getting ready for the morning. Simba would patiently wait outside her passenger door urging her to come outside for his rub time (or treats which she was never in short supply of)! For a long time after COVID shut down started, he would look for her car. RIP. "- Madhuri Ramanathan

“For four years, our family had the chance to see Miss Cassie five days a week.  She was bright and bossy, friendly and stern, a true warrior of the crosswalk.  She always smiled and chatted with you while also minding the cars and drivers that were in a hurry or not paying attention.  She wasn’t afraid to speak up which is needed in her role.  But she was so much more.  She volunteered for nearly everything Stocklmeir presented her with and watched the kids during PTA Board meetings so parents could attend and be involved.  She wore her school spirit and holiday spirit, literally.  Our girls loved seeing Miss Cassie each day.  While we have changed schools, we were deeply saddened by the news.  You are in our hearts Miss Cassie and forever in our photo memories of Stocklmeir.” - the Combellick family

May her soul rest in peace." Regards, Shweta
