Welcome back pandas! Hope you’ve had a great summer. Our PTA has been hard at work during the summer preparing for our upcoming school year.
WELCOME LETTER
We sent you a Welcome Letter in the Panda Folder today. Please take a few moments to read through it for information on the ways to join the PTA, direct donations, and volunteering.
VOLUNTEER
We would love to have you come volunteer with us either by joining our PTA board or volunteering at school events. We currently have PTA board positions open for an Auditor, Historian and Assemblies & Education advocate. See position descriptions here.
JOIN KONSTELLA
PTA is going to use the Konstella platform throughout the year to communicate about our events and volunteer opportunities. Konstella is also a place to connect with our parents in your kid’s room and communicate with each other. If you already are on Konstella, please add your child to their classroom so you can connect with fellow parents. PTA MEMBERSHIP AND DIRECT DONATION
Please remember that you can join the PTA for as little as $10. A suggested donation of $250 per child or $400 per family is greatly appreciated and directly funds PTA-supported programs for your child throughout the year. All donations are tax deductible. Don’t forget to request a corporate match and double your impact. You can use the donation envelope in the panda folder to send a check or send the envelope back for reuse in case you donate online. PANDA SPIRITWEAR STORE IS NOW OPEN
Show your Panda pride! SpiritWear Store is now open through Friday, September 23rd. Orders will be made after sales end on September 23rd for delivery/pick up by October 7th. To place an order please visit: https://stores.inksoft.com/stocklmeir/.
UPCOMING EVENTS
PTA Volunteer Info Session, September 1st, Thursday - from 5 - 5:30pm
Right before the back to school night, we will have a PTA table outside the school office with information for volunteers and to answer any questions you might have.
PANDA PICNIC! September 9th, Friday - from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m
Come join us at Stocklmeir’s first community event of the year. Fun for all ages! Meet other Stocklmeir families, stop by the various booths, do a fun craft, watch a show, meet Pandy and of course try some of the great food from the various food trucks! We hope to see you there!
Pizza my heart fundraiser - September 14th, 4:00 - 9:00 p.m
