Scholastic Book Fair

Every year, Stocklmeir hosts the Scholastic Book Fair at our school for a week of shopping at school! Parents can shop with their students before and after school. Students will also be able to shop during recesses and when visiting the book fair with their classrooms.

2023 Book Fair Dates:

Story Time at Book Fair

We will be hosting a story time on Monday during the book fair in the GLC for parents to come and visit with their children. Volunteers will read stories and we will also have crafts available for the kids. Feel free to have the kids come in their PJs so they can go home and go straight to bed.

E-wallet Option:

Click here to create your student's e-wallet for easy shopping. In addition to sending your student to the Book Fair with cash that they can use to spend on books, we will also have an e-wallet option, a safe and secure alternative to cash. Simply create a free account to add funds and/or invite family and friends to contribute so that your student can shop for their own books. Any unused funds can be used to shop on the Scholastic Online store or can be donated to your child's classroom. To learn more, watch this short video.

Book Fair Sales Goal:

Thanks to the generosity of our community, each year we are able to raise about $5,000 from sales to be used towards programs for our children! Our goal this year is to sell 2,000 books!

Volunteers Needed: With the book fair open for shopping before school, during school, and after afterschool, we need your help to make this a success! To sign-up to volunteer, click here.  Please note that anyone volunteering during school hours need to be cleared by current District volunteer requirements.

A few important notes for parents:

1) All Sales at the book fair are final. There are No Returns or Exchanges.

2) Please ensure you talk with your children about how much money they may spend when they are shopping by themselves. Parent volunteers at the fair cannot monitor student spending or be held accountable for purchases made by students.
